Dear Jhi,
Last night, you made me feel something I couldn’t quite explain. Maybe it was because Elmo suddenly had a love life, or maybe it was the thought of that love life finally meeting someone in person this November. Hahaha. ❤️
When you said Elmo wanted to meet me, and that his heart was pounding with excitement, I couldn’t help but feel giddy, too. It was such a playful conversation, but the thought of us actually meeting made it feel a little more real.
And now that I’m thinking about it, I’m getting nervous. Hahaha.
It’s funny how I can spend hours talking to you, listening to your voice late at night, laughing at your silly jokes, and exchanging sweet words with you. Yet the thought of finally standing in front of you makes me wonder how different things will feel.
Will I be able to look you in the eyes? Will I know what to say? Or will I suddenly become shy around the person I’ve grown so comfortable talking to? I might end up laughing just to hide how nervous I am.
I know you’re busy, and I understand that finding time won’t be easy with your full work schedule. I’ll leave that decision to you. I just hope we can find a time that works for both of us.
I don’t need anything grand. I simply want to experience what it’s like to spend time with you beyond our screens. To hear your laughter without a phone between us, share moments that don’t depend on a good network connection, and finally put a real-life memory behind the voice and person I’ve come to know.
I think part of my nervousness comes from knowing that meeting you might make everything feel different. We’ve shared so many conversations and sweet moments, but there are still things about us that remain uncertain. I don’t expect one meeting to answer every question, but I can’t deny that I’m curious about what it will feel like to finally be together in person.
For now, I’ll let things unfold naturally. I know November is still tentative, and you have a schedule to work around. You’ve already told me you’re excited to see me, and that gives me something lovely to look forward to. The rest, we’ll figure out when the time comes.
And if Elmo’s heart is already pounding at the thought of meeting his love life, imagine what’s happening to mine. Hahaha. 🥹❤️
I might act calm when we talk about it, but secretly, I’m wondering how that first meeting will go. Maybe I’ll be shy at first. Maybe we’ll laugh at how nervous we both are. Or maybe, once I finally see you, everything will feel more natural than I imagined.
Whatever happens, I hope we get that chance.
Until then, I’ll try not to get too carried away imagining our first meeting. No promises, though. Hahaha.
Love,
Nikka
